How I Serve Churches and Ministry Leaders

I help pastors and ministry teams by writing, speaking, and consulting. Whether your church needs help strengthening family-disciple making, developing an intergenerational discipleship strategy, or considering the hiring of a family pastor, I bring both pastoral experience and academic research to serve your context effectively.

Before You Reach Out

Here are some quick answers about how I serve churches, pastors, ministry teams, and events.

Yes. I speak at churches, conferences, and workshops on various topics in family ministry, discipleship, shepherding care, and protecting minors and volunteers. Sessions are practical, pastoral, and tailored to your context.

I am a full-time pastor with a family of six, so my schedule may be limited during busy seasons. Virtual conferences/cohort trainings/podcast interviews are another option that I can easily work into my schedule. Please feel free to reach out, and we can discuss this further.

I focus on family-disciple making, intergenerational discipleship, kids and student ministry strategy, supporting ministry families, and leadership in smaller or mid-sized churches. I can also create a custom session for your event.

Absolutely. I help churches evaluate and strengthen their family ministries, develop effective strategies, improve systems, and equip leaders. I’m not an expert in everything, but I can at least point you in the right direction.

At this time, my consulting services are fully remote.

Yes. I am one of the few, if not the only, researchers who have conducted formal academic research on family pastors. I have spent hours learning from practitioners: studying their roles, job descriptions, strategies, successes, and challenges.

I can help you clarify the role, design the job description, and identify what your church truly needs.

You’ll receive a reply, usually within 48 hours, to schedule a brief conversation via phone or Zoom. We’ll discuss your event, needs, or goals so I can recommend the best way to serve you.

Every ministry context is unique. I typically ask churches/organizations to cover my travel and lodging, and the rest depends on how much time and preparation your event requires.

After we talk, I can suggest an amount that fits your needs and context.

Definitely. Many people contact me seeking direction, recommendations, or ideas regarding family ministry, ministry safety technology/policies, or job descriptions for family ministry pastors.

Simply choose “General Question or Comment” on the contact form, and we’ll figure it out together.
